Jumbo Buffet Grill in Parkersburg

This place must've changed owners during the quarantine because this food is so bad right now that im but to walk out of here without paying and not come back.

Really big Chinese buffet, including sushi and a hibachi style grill with made to order food. You can find everything here. We went later evening on a Sunday, it wasnt crowded, food was fresh.

Amazing crab Rangoon delicious fried fish so much variety and a good entire steam table of American favorites too

In our opinion the food is pretty good. What you come to expect from typical Chinese buffets. They have American favorite foods also. The employees are friendly. They make sure you're not overcrowded with plates you're done with. Your drinks stay filled. The restaurant is kept clean overall; the bathrooms too, plenty of soap and towels. We used a 15% off coupon this trip. One of the most notable things to mention here that sets Jumbo apart: MILITARY DISCOUNTS! I'm not sure if police get that too; I'd bet they do! Call to find out. There's Plenty of parking space. Not much of a crowd at 8pm.

The food was awful. It was either too sugary, salty, or not seasoned well. I tried to make the best of it and get through my meal. Then I went to the restroom and on the walk there I saw a cockroach. I immediately notified the staff. They just acted like it wasn't a big deal. When I got up to leave and pay the hostess asked me if everything was ok. I told her it was not. She asked me if I didn't want to pay. I told her i would pay i just wouldn't be back. I could not imagine being in a restaurant with cockroaches and not caring. This was awful.

Good variety in buffet but not well cooked

Gross the food was cold and the soup had a film on it like it was there for a long time. Only a few things I could eat. The waitress was sweeping with a broom right around where we were eating. Then I look up at the ceiling and there is mold where the vents are and they were filthy. Never again.

Big selection of food. The food was very good and was kept hot. We had good service the only reason I didntgive it 5 stars was because my pop was flat and our table wasn't wiped off.

If you want all you can eat sushi then Jumbos is the place to go. The food and service is great. They have a variety of American food also, if you have someone who isn't crazy about Chinese food.

Buffet is huge and the food is the better then anywhere else in Pburg, Ripley, or Charleston. Worth the drive and cheap. Its the only place I'll go for Chinese food.

Place was nasty your not aloud to get your own food food was burnt And dry

They were very friendly and helpful They go with you to get your food (only 2 people at a time at the buffet) They get your clean plate with them wearing mask and clean gloves You walk with them and tell them what you would like They put it on your plate When your plate is full they walk it back to your table . They keep a good eye on you When you are ready for more You go back to buffet and they start again We all felt very safe Great place to eat

Pretty good food, just depends what time you go. Went 8/11/19 at 7pm and shrimp was cold as ice and dinner rolls were hard as rocks. We went today, 8/13/19 at 1pm and the food had a good temperature. Only problem was the woman who brought us our tab was a little hard to understand. She asked us if we wanted a separate tab and it sounded like "sepretay". I gave 4 stars because one of the people I was there with yelled "what" into her face. Our bad. I'd normally rate a solid 3.

Need to keep up with keeping fresh food out I was there at dinner time and everything was old until I said something then they started bringing out fresh food.

A lot of mice, the dishes are dirty, scolding employees loudly, do n’t pay, do n’t eat them, they put the rest in the kitchen, the rats crawled around, and re-cooked the rest the next day It ’s disgusting for the guests. I ’m scared now.

Good selection , food could be checked more often while on bar , usually on cool side , could stand to a lot warmer temp. Still a good place .

May have changed hands. This is an Asian buffet. They need to pay more attention to the steam tables. Most were OK but some of the hot food was only lukewarm.

I only go here because my son likes it. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusted every time don't use them, don't go in there you will lose your appetite. Go during peak hours that way you're insured hot fresh food. Don't ever go at open and don't go at close.

What a bargain for the price. 10.00 for the buffet including your drink. So much to choose from. The sushi bar is good. The service is good. It's not a five star restaurant but It's so worth the money you pay.

Very big restaurant as the name suggests. It is buffet style and costs roughly $10 per person. There was a great variety of food. I really enjoyed it. The food was really well prepared and the staff were very friendly.

Normally it's ok BUT never go there right before close. (Should have known better.) Food was not fresh. Other than that, all good.

They are encouraging customers to get their own food from the buffet. They are not following the restrictions.

I will say, we did show up at 9pm, but the food was very cold and dry. There were hardly any options and most of the food wasn't Asian food, but traditional food, which is fine, but disappointing.

I usually just go for the sea food. They serve frog legs too.

After the other reviews, I have to say I was very disappointed. I assumed my family I would be enjoying an excellent Chinese Dinner tonight. Instead, we ended up with burnt food at some stations, seafood that CLEARLY been left out " DRY" too long at others. More "American cuisine" then " American Chinese cuisine " buffets spread out to look like they had an abundance of selections. Sticky tables, very little staff to assist customers. HIGH room temperature - to the point of uncomfortable, and bland tasting food from what we thought was edible. Was not worth the money. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Since they have reopen their Buffet is very lacking. But most horrifying to me is a fact they don't care about the rules for buffets are no longer self service. And they were actually encouraging people to serve themselves which would be fine under normal times as stupid as rules maybe rules are rules are meant to be followed.

Was very disappointed food was over cooked or burnt the fried rice tasted like flour out waitresses never came back to see if we needed refills or to clear the table , would have been understandable if they would have been busy but they were not. the hibachi chief wouldn't even wait on us after serval attempts to get his attention Thank goodness for the salad bar

We go here every other Sunday or so after church and haven’t been disappointed. The food hits the perfect spot every time. Their sushi is one of my favorites. My brother and his honey chicken are inseparable. They have slightly healthier options and choices too. A salad bar and a grill to at serves during lunch and dinner times. If you choose to take a visit here, definitely make sure to get a bowl of their blackberry cobbler or apple pie with vanilla ice cream!
